Who and How is God?

May’s T-ology will be given by our new chaplain Mgr Vladimir Felzmann. The subject is “Who and How is God” and will be held on Thursday 6th May 12:00 noon.

Ash Wednesday Registration

This year’s Canary Wharf Ash Wednesday Mass will be celebrated by the Most Rev Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster.
Once again Barclays have kindly allowed the CWCC to hold this Mass at their headquarters located at One Churchill Place (map located at he bottom of this page).

The Ministry of Deacons

This Thursday’s T-ology will be presented by Deacon Peter Rennie and will be on the history and ministry of deacons in the Church.
T-ology starts at 12 noon.
Please note that this session may be cancelled at the last minute due to snow. Please check this site on Thursday.

Tuesday the 22nd of December will be the last Canary Wharf Mass before Christmas.  We will be taking a collection for the costs to the parish of the Canary Wharf Masses which include the bread and wine used at Mass, washing of linen and especially supply priests. Also be prepared to sing…

Ash Wednesday 2010

The CWCC is pleased to announce that the Canary Wharf Ash Wednesday Mass in 2010 will be celebrated by the Most Rev Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster.
The Ash Wednesday Mass is the biggest event of the CWCC calendar and allows about 500 Canary Wharf Catholics who may have difficulty attending Masses in their own parishes [...]

Archbishop of Southwark

At 11:00 am (GMT) on Friday, 4th December 2009, The Holy Father accepted the resignation of Archbishop Kevin McDonald of Southwark in accordance with Canon 401 §2. 
The Archbishop submitted his resignation to the Holy Father having taken account of medical advice.
The Archbishop has had a triple heart bypass and also suffers from severe osteoarthritis. This [...]

Advent Meditation

Thank you to John Ravi who is a seminarian on placement to St Edmunds for leading December’s T-ology with a meditation on Advent. January’s topic will be advertised closer to the date.

New Website

The founder of the CWCC website David Furber has moved from Canary Wharf to work in the City. A new team is now looking after the website and administration. We all wish David well in his new role and hope he will be able to join us from time to time at CWCC events.
